
The Spanish Language Program for High School Students at CEELE-accredited Schools is organized by Eduespaña and sponsored by the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington D.C.
Each participating student receives a $400 scholarship (already deducted from the program cost); the total price indicated is the net amount due to Eduespaña.
Teachers chaperoning groups of 12 students receive lodging and three meals per day, the right to participate in extracurricular activities organized for the students, and a certificate of participation from the school.
Teachers chaperoning groups of 18 students receive the above-mentioned benefits, as well as the following sums of money to defray travel expenses:
Those funds will be paid to the teacher by the host school once the teacher arrives in Spain.
For each group of 24 students that one high school enrolls in 2010, Eduespaña and the participating schools will grant that high school one full student scholarship for the following year. The scholarship will cover the cost of the Spanish language courses and all other services listed in this program information. Travel to and from Spain is not included.
